FUNDRAISING GOAL IS MET!!!!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE GENEROUS DONATIONS!!!!

Today I met my fundraising goal of $2100.00.  It may not look like I met my goal, but I have $70 in checks be processed through the society.

I really appreciate everyone's support!

Any donations made here on out will go directly to research to help find a cure for blood cancer!

THANK YOU!!!!

It's a new week!!! :) I'm feeling good about it!

Monday, July 28 - Got up at 4:45 AM for a 6:00 run in Northborough! We ran 5 miles, woo hoo...we're off to a great start this week.  It can only get betttter :)

Sunday, July 27 - Much needed break day after the rough 12 miles yesterday.

Rough Week! 12 miles ... But we got a house!!!

So this was a bad week of training and running for me.  It def. showed me how important training is! The only day that I attempted to go out and run was on Wednesday with Dana.  We started off okay, but then I got pains and we ended up walking the rest of the way.

So Saturday came and I ran 12 miles.  At 3 miles Dana and I were convinced that we were stopping and the coach was going to give us a ride back to the church.  Well with a little pushing (well a lot) from our coach and mentor we ended up completing the 12 miles and it made me feel accomplished even if I didn't run the entire 12 miles.  Our mentor, Annelle said that when you're at mile 17, you may want to stop...but this is a test to keep you going. So we did end up finishing the 12 miles and I'm glad that I didn't stop.

Next week will be a much better week!!! I promise!!!

OHHH and good news, we put an offer on a house in Lunenburg, MA and they accepted it.  We are closing on August 29th! That is prob. another excuse to my craziness this week.  It was also torrential rains too!

Ahh, only running 5 miles...no big deal

Saturday, July 19 - Ran 11 miles!
I have to say I felt pretty good running this 11 miles.  Towards the end of the run Dana and I were saying F--- cancer, people that are fighting this disease are hurting much more then we are right now, and we were running for Sam's Girl (our dedication run) I'm not sure Sam is the name, but I think it is!

Goood Runnn! :) Feeling good about myself and this whole running thing! Such a huge accomplishment!

Thursday, July 16 - Volunteered with the LLS for the Weston 5 miler.  Had a good time ringing my cow bell waving people.  It was a good experience!

Tuesday, July 15 -
Went for a 5 mile run in Northboro with Dana...she found a nice little 5 mile route. It's funny because I said to Locke (The mom of the kiddos that I babysit for) that I was only running 5 miles and she said isn't it amazing when you get to a certain point that you can say you are only running 5 miles. :) Felt great!!!
11 Miles on Sunday!!!

Please remember to donate if you haven't already. I'm trying to reach my goal of $290.00 by August 1 which is my recommitment date. Thanks for all of your support! :)

Sunday, July 13 - Monday, July 14 -
Break Days
However, on Monday I did some more trampoline jumping and swimming in the pool with the kids.

Hot Hot Week!!!

Saturday, July 12 - 10 miles...WOO HOO!! In the double digits :)
Ran an amazing 10 miles with the team in Grafton.  It really felt awesome to complete 10 miles and to get into the double digits.  Ran the entire 10 miles, NO WALKING :) Amazing what you can do when your running with others (Thanks Dana and Kathryn).

Friday, July 11 - I was feeling a little weak from yesterday's run so I took it easy, no trampoline and no run.  10 miles tomorrow!! :)

Thursday, July 10 - 6 miles and some serious jumping on the trampoline!

Ran 6 miles in Leominster today by myself, or I should say walk/run, however I mostly ran. I came across some SUPER steap hills, ran part of them and walked the others. Towards the end I started to get really bad cramps so I walked the rest of the way home.

The family that I work for during the summer bought a new trampline for the kiddos and we did some serious jumping on that thing for most of the day. I have a feeling my legs are going to be feeling a little weak tomorrow.

I feel pretty accomplished today! :)

****I only have $290.00 to raise and I really want to raise is by August 1st, which is my recommitment date...If I raise all my money by then I get a free hat! LOL, I know it's only a hat, but it would be an awesome goal!!! :) Every little bit helps, so if you're reading this and you haven't donated, please feel free to click on my fundraising link on the right and donate....remember no amount is tooo small! :) Thanks a bunch!

Wednesday, July 9 - RED SOX GAME with Missy! :)

Hoping to run in the morning while Wallace is at swimming or tennis. I'll let yah know!!
GO SOX! :)

**Did not end up running, it was tooo tooo hot! I'm not doing so good this week...not to worry, I will catch back up!

Tuesday, July 8 - 2 miles
Wow, it was a hot day out today!!! I only ran 2 miles, but came back dripping with sweat. I could've gone further, but wanted to make sure I was back in time to pick up one of the kids from Tennis, so to play it on the safe side, I cut the run short.

Sunday, July 6 - Monday, July 7 - Break Days

Better Week!! June 30 - July 5

Saturday, July 5 -
9 MILES!!! I ran a full 9 miles and did awesome doing it. At mile 7.5 I met up with the Merriam Hill, which was difficult but I pushed myself up it. I ran that far and that hill was not going to stop me and it didn't. I kept pointing to the sky and saying this is for you Russ and was talking to myself...and hey I got up it. I have never been so proud of myself and I am confident that I can continue running further distances!

Only 5 people showed up to the run today, as it was a holiday weekend. I ran the first 3.5 miles with Heather and then continued the rest of the journey by myself, which is even more shocking . I thought running alone was going to be difficult, but I did it! :) I'm already excited to run 10 miles next week (hopefully?? I'm hoping that my professor will let me take the morning off again???)

Friday, July 4 - Happy 4th of July!!
Well we were going to go into Boston, but I ended up sick all day :( ... Bummer! I think Dunkin Donuts gave me an iced coffee with caffeine instead of a decaf, which made me not goood! So we stayed home (that's when you know that I'm sick, when I don't want to go into Boston).

Thursday, July 3 - Good Thing I watched the weather last night, b/c I canceled my run with Dana (sorry Dana) and ran in the morning. I ran a beautiful course in Weston, looking at some of the most beautiful houses. I only ran 2.7 miles and almost got lost. Good think I went with my instinct b/c otherwise I def. would've ended up lost and late to pick up the kiddos from swimming. I mapped out the course and have a good idea of where I'm going now and possibly making it a little longer. :)
9 miles on Saturday!! Say a little prayer for me!

Wednesday, July 2 - Back home in Massachusetts...First day back to work or kid sitting I like to call it. Hung out with my Ogen friends today. Pretty stormy day and I came home to ANTS...UGH!! So I went on a major cleaning spree as soon as I got home. Going for a six mile run tomorrow with Dana in Grafton :)

Tuesday, July 1 - Well I had every intention of running 8 miles, I had it all mapped out and everything...Well I only ran 2.5 and walked 1 mile. A little running mixed with some cross training. (Remember I'm on vacation)

Monday, June 30 - Went for a run around Bemus Point, which was nice around the lake and back home. I think I ran about 3 miles, which was good considering the night before (hey remember I'm on vacation).
